Lifeline broadband benefit

Lifeline is a federal program that lowers the monthly cost of phone and internet to qualified households based on income eligibility and/or participation in other eligible assistance programs. Beginning 2022, Lifeline benefit applies to broadband internet only.

Existing Lifeline customers: How to certify for broadband benefit

The Lifeline phone benefit will expire December 31, 2021 and will then apply to broadband only.

📞 Phone-only customers: To avoid losing Lifeline benefits, you will need to enroll in broadband and transfer your benefit. To get started, call us today.

📞 + 🌐 Phone and internet customers: Your Lifeline benefit will transfer from phone to broadband internet. To confirm eligibility, call us today.

🌐 Web-only customers: If you're an internet customer without phone service, you may be eligible for additional benefits. Visit our Emergency Broadband Benefit page to get started.
